Vidar Vang sings with his heart on his sleeve. You connect with him; you easily feel what he’s trying to convey. Some songs are uplifting, some are filled with pain and experience. The melodies are beautifully arranged and his vocals are definitely easy on the ears. Bottom line: it’s refreshing and packed with finely crafted and captivating songs.

‘Stand Up’ – An inspirational & very pretty track. You can hear just a little bit of The Waterboys in it.

Lyrics sample:

I got a six feet wall between my heart and soul
I chased the sunshine, baby and got covered up in snow
I held on too long to what I had to let go
I tried to make it on my own, but this ain’t no one-man-show
I forgot my name and where I set out to go
I got a concrete will, I ain’t gonna cry no more

‘Sometimes I Stay Up At Night’ – One of our very favorite tunes on this album! It’s a velvety track that has a tiny bit of a David Gray feel to it.

‘Hard To Follow, Hard To Find’ – A little bit Dylan-esque. This song is another one of our favorites.

‘My Baby’s Like Water’ and ‘Nothing To Me Now’ are also highlights.
