Jamieson Tobey plays a large array of instruments on this album. Add his cozy voice to them and you have one very delicious, and often eclectic, piece of work.

‘Love’ - is the perfect song to start off the album. It features some unusual melodies that are extremely refreshing. The vocals build in the middle and soon after there’s a pretty flutter of instrumentals. It also happens to end perfectly. This is a definite highlight on the album.

‘Everybody Feels The Same’ – We love, love, love this song! Jamieson has a way of emotionally connecting with the listener and it is especially true when he incorporates lyrics like these:

Everybody feels the same and everybody knows the way that you feel
And everybody lives a lie and everybody’s having doubts
And feeling lonely
So when you’re feeling all alone
Rest assured that the world is fucking with me, too
And be secure that we are all just as mad as you

‘Smoke’ – Another uncommon and captivating gem. 3 tasty songs into the album and we’re thinking it just can’t possibly get any better.

‘The Black Will Turn To Blue’ – Guess what? It does keep getting better! This is another fantastic track! We’re still trying to figure out who Jamieson sounds like but we can’t say for sure. We did hear just a hint of John Mayer in the beginning of this song.

‘Cars Crash’ – is a hypnotic tune. One of the most beautiful on this stunning album.

Steel bends when tires turn
Glass breaks when cars crash
You turned down the top and the wind hurried in
And for a moment you’d slip away

‘Faith’ and ‘Golden Wing’ are strong tracks as well. Something this good deserves a further looky. So, check him out!
