Breakbeat / Pop / Nu-Jazz

Slightly theatrical and commanding (like on ‘Make Up Friends’ and somewhat on ‘H1B’), Fidgital offers something different and beguiling. On the other hand, ‘We Lost The Signal’ and ‘In A Strange City’ are mellow, velvety and sexy. Then there is the track, ‘David Bowman’ - which gives a hint.

‘Miles’ Trick’ is an exquisite blend of different sounds, including what sounds like muffled voices & footsteps. I imagined a big city soundscape with a faint classical breeze. The title-song, ‘Departure', and ‘The Letter Home’ quickly relieved some of my stress by cloaking me in peace.

This release is consistently imaginative and beautiful all the way through.
