We will be shooting a music video for a song from the new The Birthday Massacre album in NYC on December 8th and 9th. The video will be directed by Dan
Ouellette who did the music video for the song 'Blue.' The video is
set in a school with students and a teacher. We need to fill our
classroom with students.
All extras will be wearing strange scary face masks with large
numbers on the front of them during the scenes. All extras will be
wearing student uniforms which the production will provide. Some
specific clothing items may be required (for instance, plain black
pants.) Extras will be asked to act during scenes as directed.
Each shoot day will be 12 hours long. Food will be provided for the
duration. There is the possibility that a shoot day may be shorter
than 12 hours once exact scheduling has been determined. For the
time being, however, the producers need a commitment of 12 hours on
both days, 8th and 9th. TBM will be present throughout the
weekend shoot.

Earlier this week, THREE of my guitars were stolen from my band's rehearsal space in the Rothrock building (10th and Peach, PA). They were:
Apparently it happened sometime between Monday at 3pm and Wednesday at 7 when I showed up to find our door open and my things gone. Needless to say, we've already moved out.
Luckily, I have insurance on my instruments (the policy just cleared this week, amazingly). However, these were some of my very first guitars... my dad bought me one, and the other I used in my very first professional band and played over 200 shows with it. They have a lot of sentimental value to me.
If you know of ANYTHING - a rumor, a whisper in the air, a suspicion, a theory - please let me know. I have the serial numbers of all the instruments, and also, they each have distinguishing characteristics - I can tell it's them from 100 feet away. Also, if one of your friends or someone you see happens to have a brand-new guitar matching any described above, let me know... it may or may not be mine, but at this point, I'm suspicious of just about anyone and everyone.

Finger Eleven's song 'Paralyzer' - I swear that they are knowingly paying tribute to Air Supply on that song. The very beginning of 'Paralyzer' sounds very similar to the 'Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh' that appears 14 or 15 seconds into Air Supply's 'Lost in Love'. Is this them showing a little humor or am I way off?
What is it with the Sci-Fi Channel? Everytime I record something from that channel on DVR the last 5 minutes are cut off. What the heck's the point of watching something if the ending is never learned? Well, I've finally smartened up. Now every time I record a Twilight Zone or something, I have to record the next program as well in order to get the last 5 minutes of the previous program. I may have babbled about this before - it's been under my skin, for some ridiculous reason, for a long time.
Is Prince really looking to sue his fan sites too (for using photos - including those of album covers and such)? That's the talk on the radio today. I cannot imagine it but if so, I have to wonder what on earth he is thinking. It's free promotion - and you are nothing without your fans. It just can't be true.
I cannot watch enough Gordon Ramsay (in regards to Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares)! I'm just curious as to why they show Gordon changing his shirt in (seemingly) every episode of RKN? Is it to make us girls sick with lust or does he have "Oprah Syndrome" (where, in her case, she can't help but want to appear on every cover of her magazine)?

You gotta love Midnight Oil! This band had a powerful sound, powerful messages and a powerful look - who's gonna f*@& with Peter Garrett? No one.
We have to mention, they were one of the best live bands as well.
This CD was originally released in 1983. They had it right on '10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1' when they decided to open with 'Outside World'. Highlights for us are 'Short Memory', 'Read About It', 'US Forces', 'Power and the Passion', 'Tin Legs and Tin Mines', and 'Maralinga' (how we love 'Maralinga').
