6.30.06 WASHED-UP & OLD
First off, I want to say that we have some wonderful and open-minded readers! Thanks!
The following message was written due to conversations I’ve heard at clubs, concerts, and in general over the years.
"Washed-up” and “Old”.
I cringe every time I hear these words being affiliated with musicians. It’s cruel and unfair. No one stays on the top forever and we all age - it sucks but that’s just the way it is. Anyway, age and popularity aren’t going to dictate the quality of music.
So, why do some of us disregard the works of many fantastic musicians just because they haven’t had a recent “hit” or aren’t reeking of youth?
Sure, some get better with age (so, see what they’ve been up to) and some don’t (so, let’s respect them for the contributions they have made). Understand that they shouldn’t have to give up the only thing they know, what they have done most of their lives, just because of age and status.
Just something to think about.
Now you’ve heard me babble! – Stacy (Babble and Beat)

6.30.06 COLLECTIVE SOUL MESSAGE
Official message: "Just wanted to give you guys an update from Europe...It has been eventful so far. Great shows, great people, new fans getting the experience...
The show in Paris got cancelled...and as unfortunate as that is, it did give us a few extra days off. Which we decided to spend in Amsterdam...We'll just say, what a great place to hang out for a few days. We got a chance to watch some football (soccer) games with some new friends in some local hang outs...very exciting!
Ed & Joel went to Baden Baden, Germany after the Amsterdam show for an acoustic performance on a late night television show, (very much like a David Letterman Show). They also got a chance to do a radio interview on the largest German radio station in the country. Very good news for the life of our record 'Youth' which only just released there in March 2006.
We are all in Manchester, England now and look forward to our show here tomorrow night.
Well, that's it for now...more to come." - Collective Soul

6.30.06 NEIL YOUNG WEBSITE UPDATES
Official message: "(Burbank, CA) June 29, 2006 - Two exciting new additions to Neil Young's website make their debut today. Living With War Network will feature both brand new videos and documentaries for songs from the recent album 'Living With War', as well as rare archival material from the musician's past, including a live clip of 'Mideast Vacation,' filmed in 1987. Several other surprises are going to be available on the site soon, making it a not-to-miss interactive destination for everyone interested in world events.
Living With War Today, with its motto "All War All The Time," is a special online newspaper with an wide array of features, ranging from a unique Time Line Analyzer to reports from the Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young Freedom of Speech '06 tour. There will be continual tour info and updates, which starts Thursday, July 6th in Camden, NJ, continuing across the United States and Canada.
A unique feature of the newspaper will be a section for artists to submit their own protest or topical songs and videos for possible play on the LWW web network. Along with that is the LWW Today Questionnaire, which asks readers to share their thoughts on five questions regarding the war, with selected responses to be posted as they come in.
Other newspaper items include the exclusive Time Line Analyzer, which allows website visitors the ability to track events before, during and after the Living With War album throughout the media. The Great Debate section, which collects all the pro and con reviews of Young's 'Living With War' album is also now available at LWW Today, allowing readers to fully trace all the critical reactions to the controversial release.
Other highlights include an exclusive travel section, as well as a series of features on each song from the album. The first story, 'After The Garden,' is written by noted scribe Jack Flak. Others will become available over the summer.
Two important icons are included near the masthead that provide links to both the USO, so readers can support those in the military needing assistance, as well as the League of Women Voters, for those seeking voting information regarding the upcoming election in the Fall.
The Living With War website will be updated regularly, so stay tuned and stay informed." ~peace~

6.29.06 BONO AFTER LIVE 8
Official message: "One year after Live 8, the richest countries are falling short on promises made to Africa. Bono, Bob Geldof and other campaigners have marked the anniversary by ramping up the pressure on the politicians with the release of a ‘country-by-country report card’.
Speaking to CNN Bono said that while the G8 leaders promised a year ago to take huge steps to wipe out poverty, their action hasn’t yet matched their words. A DATA report finds that wealthy countries have made strides on their promise to cancel the debts of 19 poor countries, most of them in Africa, but promises on funding to fight AIDS, to boost development assistance and to create fairer global trade rules are not being delivered.
"They started to climb an Everest but over the past year they got lost at base camp," Bono told CNN. "Overall, there is one cheer on debt, half a cheer on AIDS and boos and wolf-whistles for what is happening on trade."
View Bono’s CNN interview http://edition.cnn.com/2006/WORLD/africa/
06/29/bono.africa.reut/index.html.
Live 8 helped build one of the largest civil movements in history in 2005, with millions lobbying the G8 to make poverty history, and political leaders announcing an ambitious plan to accelerate Africa's economic development and save millions of lives.
“Live 8 was and remains a brilliant moment but what is more important is the brilliant movement of which it was a part,” explained Bono. “This gives the poorest of the poor real political muscle for the first time. It is this movement of church people and trade unionists, soccer moms and student activists, that will carry the spirit of Live 8 on. It is this movement, not rock stars, that will make it untenable in the future to break promises to the most vulnerable people on this planet. That was always why we put on the concerts.”
The DATA Report will monitor G8 progress annually until the promises are kept. It is not only a report card on 2005, but a road map forward to 2007 and beyond to 2010. Download the report www.thedatareport.org .

6.28.06 SKYSCRAPER FRONTIER
The LA-based band Skyscraper Frontier just released their new EP, 'Moonlit Behavior' on Coming Home Records. We've heard 2 tracks from the EP: 'The Fake Make Believe' and 'I Just Need You'. We love them both!
According to their official website, they "sound like something you can't put your finger on." Check them out; we know you're going to like them. The vocals are especially fabulous!

6.28.06 PANACODE
Panacode is Leo (Tim) Capone, the former frontman of Alternate Society and Biofeedback.
Leo's vocals have been compared to those of Mike Patton (of Faith No More & Mr. Bungle) and Maynard James Keenan (of Tool and A Perfect Circle), just to name a couple.
We love Panacode's tracks, 'Soul' and 'Dacarbazine'. Here are some stand-out lyrics from 'Soul':
"Out on limbs

When they get trimmed
eat gravel."

6.27.06 STEREOPHONICS UPDATE
Official message from Richard Jones of the Stereophonics:
"Thought I'd drop in and tell you all what's been going on in the camp.
Yip, the DVD is finally being released, 'Language. Sex. Violence. Other?' will be out there in the big bad retail world on the last day of July this year of 2006. It's taken a while (I'd like to let you all know we did our bit back in Feb/March) through all the back and forth of record company - video company - management company - band politics, so hopefully you'll appreciate the wait and like what you see. We enjoyed the whole piecing it together late at night (a big thanks to Eggy, Reg and Sonny for your time and expertise!) and finding all those DV tapes that we never thought would see the light of day.
So onto the next bit of info, which is another DVD project which has been on going for the last 3/4/5 years. A good friend of ours and a experienced documentary maker, Danny O'Connor has been putting the finishing touches to the story of Stereophonics up to now, what a trip down memory lane that has been. Kelly and myself have popped in while the editing has been going on and have found ourselves laughing our balls off to some of the things on there. Now trying to fit a story which dates back to the big hair days into an hour and a half has been very taxing indeed (and probably one of the reasons it's taken so long), but somehow it's been done and done very well. Hats off to all involved!! Hopefully that'll be out sometime in the not so distant future (probably when the nights get darker and the days get colder). It's guranteed to put a smile on your face!
And if you can be arsed to read anymore... we are going back into the studio next month to demo some new tracks which came out of our rehearsals in the last few months. Booked into a quiet little hideaway for 10 days at the end of July, we should resurface with the next bunch of songs for the 6th album which will be released when it's finished. I cannot tell you anymore than that, but one of us will be back on here to fill you in with the vibe and thoughts from that session. Till next time, Take care." - Rich x

6.27.06 BILLY BRAGG ON MYSPACE TERMS & CONDITIONS
Read this paragraph first if you are not familiar with the recent MySpace issues:
Someone who we work with was bright enough to read the small print of the MySpace terms and conditions and found that once an artist posts up any content (including songs), it then belongs to My Space (AKA Rupert Murdoch) and they can do what they want with it, throughout the world without payng the artist. - Billy's Management
New & official message from Billy:
"I am very pleased to see that MySpace have changed their terms of agreement
from a declaration of their rights into a declaration of our rights as artists,
making it clear that, as creators, we retain ownership of our material. Having
been adopted by the biggest social networking site on the block, I hope their
recognition of the right of the artist to be sole exploiter of their own material
now becomes an industry standard because there is much more at stake here
than just the terms and conditions of a website.
In the past, songwriters and performers needed a record company to
manufacture, market and distribute their work, and in exchange for that, the
company expected to own the rights to exploit the recordings for as long as the
material was capable of earning royalties - life of copyright in legalese which
currently means 50 years.
I've always had a problem with that arrangement, arguing that the recordings
I've made should provide my pension not that of some record company
executive. In order to achieve this, I have held on to my rights, signing licensing
deals in which ownership of the records reverts to me after a stipulated period,
usually ten years. I figure that if a company cant make their money back after
that time, they dont deserve to put out my records anyway.
Every few years, the reversion clause kicks in, my back catalogue returns to my
ownership and I begin the licensing process all over again. Not only does this
strengthen my hand in contract negotiations, it also allows me to take account
of new technologies in a rapidly changing industry.
Now that the popularity of downloading has made physical manufacturing and
distribution no longer necessary, the next generation of artists will not need to
surrender all of their rights in order to get their music into the marketplace. It is
therefore crucial that they understand, from the moment that they first post
music on the internet, the importance of retaining their long term right to
exploit the material that they create. This is doubly important on a networking
site where many of the songs posted will be by unsigned artists. Ownership of
the rights to such material is somewhat ambiguous. That's why I hope that the
groundbreaking decision of MySpace to come down on the side of the artists
rights will be followed throughout the industry.
I also welcome the new wording of the terms and conditions in which MySpace
clarify exactly why they require specific rights and how they intend to use them.
Again, I hope more sites follow the lead of MySpace in ensuring the use of clear
and transparent language in contracts. The last thing any of us wants to see is a
situation in which everyone posting a song on the site has to have a lawyer
sitting next to them.
I'm glad my music is available to the community again and I'm glad that
MySpace chose to act on my concerns. In order that we might avoid any such
confusion in future, can I suggest that MySpace notify its members of any
changes in the terms and conditions whenever they take place." -Billy Bragg

6.27.06 ART TALKS ABOUT EVERCLEAR'S HATER VIDEO
A small portion of Art's perspective on the 'Hater' video:
"This video has excited, amused and pissed off a lot of people...and even if you don't like it or even understand it...it makes you think...and THAT is what artistic expression is all about.
I have heard from some people that think this is blasphemy (is that even a word anymore?) and that I and charles (the writer/director) are using this an attempt to shock for shock's sake. Nothing could be farther from the truth....we wanted to make a video that gives a whole different take on the song (from the obvious angry lover theme of the lyrics) while dealing with
the different flavors of hate that exist in society, like a large part of organized religion which often dresses up its hate and exclusion in sentiments of love and acceptance,...

Official message: "Wanna be a part of the new Electric Six video?!
Have you ever watched the video for 'Gay Bar' and thought, "I'd make a better Abraham Lincoln than Valentine?" 6.22.06 BJÖRK ON DUALDISC
Official description: "Since leaving The Sugarcubes almost 15 years ago, Björk has charted a musical course as unpredictable and challenging as it is inspiring and beautiful. Rhino Records follows the artistic adventures of the mercurial singer/songwriter/sonic sculptor with 'Surrounded'. Presented in deluxe “brick” packaging, the seven-DualDisc collection contains 5.1 remastered versions of the Icelandic performer’s studio albums expanded to include each album’s videos.
Paul “PDub” Watson oversaw the surround sound remixing, which includes all of Björk’s studio albums: the gold-certified Debut (1993), Post (1995), Homogenic (1997), Selmasongs (2000), Vespertine (2001), and 2004’s Medúlla. The collection also includes Drawing Restraint 9, featuring music Björk wrote for her film collaboration with Matthew Barney last year. All seven discs include the original release on the CD side, with the DVD side presenting the original album remastered in Dolby 5.1 and DTS Surround Sound, plus all the videos released from that album (a total of 26 videos on the box)." - Rhino Records

6.22.06 VNV NATION UPDATES
Here are some official VNV Nation updates:
HOMEWARD / CHROME
Official message: "For a while we had planned a standard single for 'Homeward'. Instead we will be releasing it as an EP featuring mixes of 'Homeward', all the remixes of 'Chrome' and some additional unreleased material. We're not the biggest fans of CD singles unless they offer value and content to our fans and we think this is the right way to do this. The release had been promised for the first half of 2006 but owing to a number of factors it had to be put back and this has contributed to our decision to release Homeward/Chrome instead.
REMIXES
The VNV Nation remix of AFI's 'Miss Murder' should be available in North America soon. Both AFI and their label are very happy with the mix and have some interesting plans for it that we're very glad to hear about. MSI's new single 'Shut Me Up' will also feature a VNV remix of the song. We're also working on a remix for their follow up single 'What Do They Know'.
FUTURE RELEASES
In the coming weeks we will publish news about another release planned for this year called 'Reformation'. It's the long over due follow-up to the 'Matter and Form' tour last year and is part live album, part songs that never made it to 'Matter and Form', part new versions of tracks from 'Matter and Form'.
Work on the next VNV Nation album will begin very soon. It is also fair to say that a few songs have been written for it already for it." -VNV Nation

6.16.06 THE BLACK WATCH
The Black Watch is based in California and some of their music can be described as Indie / Shoegaze / Psychedelic. They have released at least 10 cds to date.
You'll love their witty and intelligent lyrics!
Lyrics for 'Obligatory Blues':
(Album: 'Lime Green Girl')
"I kinda remember how she said,
"Things'll get better when you're
dead!"
I kinda remember how she sighed
& I went Italian ice inside.
To think she thought I never really
tried.
I suppose she'll go upstairs
with anyone who mumbles that he cares."
We adore their tracks 'Buttercup Fairchild' and 'The Teacup Song', off of their recent release, 'The Hypnotizing Sea' (Pink Hedgehog Records, 2005).
Keep an eye out for The Black Watch's upcoming double-cd (25 songs!), 'Anna Kournikova'.

Official message: "We are seeking openers for the Aussie and NZ tour....
any wishlist from y'all?
We are bringing our own U.S. opener that we want to expose, but they have limited draw and we need some WELL known Aussie bands to come and help the draw - they'd prob need to be able to draw at least 50-150 people to each show (i.e. don't try to hype me your cousin's band if they can't draw, we just won't be able to book them, this needs to be an established, known band).
TELL MEEE! We don't want to end up with random local support, we need your help, comrades.
Please post links at www.myspace.com/dresdendolls, don't PM me, and I'll check back. Wor dup. Love." - a, The Dresden Dolls

6.16.06 TIGER ARMY UPDATE
Official blog 6.16.06: "I can't sleep. We go on tour in a few days and my insomnia may have something to do with anticipation. I'm really excited to hit the West Coast. It's been too long.
Reno. Seattle. Portland. San Francisco. Santa Cruz. We haven't visited you since the tail end of the Dark Romance tour, over a year ago now! Where has the time gone?
Chico, it's been way too long. We haven't been there since the last time we played Brickworks (RIP) in 2004, now over two years ago. Bend, we've never been there, but I hear good things. I'm anxious to see for myself.
Hootenanny -- REALLY looking forward to that. We haven't played it since 2002 and now we return as a headliner. I don't dig the daytime, but it's a special event. Punk was born from the true rock'n'roll of the 50s in my eyes, and I like the way that the Hootenanny has always emphasized the connections between American rock'n'roll, hillbilly and roots music with punk rock. They're all branches on the same tree.
Thanks to everyone who came to see us headline in England. We had a great time. I had fun at all the shows, but London was truly special -- much like last time, the air was electric, the energy of the crowd almost a tangible force.
Congratulations to our brothers in AFI who have the NUMBER ONE RECORD in the fucking nation this week. If you are a fan of good music, you owe it to yourself to pick it up. No one has worked harder and no one deserves it more.
Each tour, we try to throw in a surprise or three to the setlist and this one is no exception. Even a diehard Tiger Army fan who's attended every show in their town will hear songs they've never heard and/or songs that haven't been played in years. I'll say no more as I want to keep it a surprise for those who attend next week's shows.
I'm told that the show at Slim's is going to sell out any day now, *definitely* before the day it happens. You should get tickets now. If you miss them, try Chico or Santa Cruz, they're both pretty close to SF. We'll probably change up the set a bit in those cities as a lot of people hit more than one show.
The new record: we are still writing. More on that soon. I'm in tour mode right now. Check our profile for info about the shows, read the blog below, or check our website TigerArmy.com.
I don't know if I can sleep now, but I'm going to try. Can't wait to see you all..." n13

6.15.06 THE CABARET STYLE OF NICKI JAINE
We're not sure that we could listen to Nicki Jaine in large quantities at a time - but she has a very haunting and interesting voice / style. She's a little like a mellow Diamanda Galas.
We really enjoyed her song, 'Pretty Faces'. 'Sound Of Girls' has a 1920s/1930s feel to it.
Her new release, 'Nicki Jaine Live' is available through Projekt.

6.13.06 WEST COAST SLEEPING
We're so psyched that we found out about West Coast Sleeping! They're a 5-guy, Alternative / Rock / Indie band. The music clips we heard are fantastic.
We especially love 'Wasted'. It has a great beat and there's a hint of Eddie Vedder in the vocals. We can easily see that song being played on the radio, only on a cool station, of course.
Also listen to their clips for 'Stay' and 'Well Kept Note'. They have a bit of a Pearl Jam meets The Replacements sound at times.

6.13.06 VINNY KEYS
Wow. We frickin' love Vinny Keys. They describe their music as Happy Hardcore / Post Hardcore / Indie. We think they sound a bit like a really pissed-off Arcade Fire.

6.10.06 WHAT? LINDA MCCARTNEY & THE SMITHS?
One of the weirdest pieces of music trivia we've ever read claims that Morrissey wrote a postcard to Linda McCartney, asking her to play piano on the Smiths' 'Queen Is Dead' album, specifically for 'Frankly, Mr. Shankley'.
She declined the offer! Was she completely insane? http://music.yahoo.com/read/news/33036834
6.9.06 JAVIER OF THE STEREOPHONICS ON DAVID GILMOUR
"30.05.06 - Tuesday. Went to see David Gilmour at the Royal Albert Hall. A masterclass. I couldn't believe all those people playing together at the same stage. Phil Manzanera (Roxy Music), Richard Wright (Pink Floyd), Robert Wyatt (Soft Machine), David Crosby and Graham Nash (Crosby Stills Nash) played.
I think Bowie was there on Monday and don't know who else joined him for Wednesday. Anyone else??? The gig was great. You can tell these guys have been playing for ages and know how to do it better than anyone. We easily forget. Loved the lights also. I did feel like a teenager among the crowd though." - Javier Weyler (Stereophonics)

6.8.06 MORTIIS - GREAT SOUND & VIDEOS
Mortiis could be described as Dark Rock / Industrial / Electronica.
They sound nothing like Kamelot or Apocalyptica BUT Mortiis has a similar effect on us. When we listen to them we feel like we're living in a different time & place. In this case, it's a much darker world & it's a good idea to be heavily armed in it.
- Stacy (Babble & Beat) likes listening to them while playing DIABLO on her computer.
Make sure to view some of their very cool videos.

6.6.06 DMB LIVE TRAX 5 AVAILABLE
The Dave Matthews Band's 'Live Trax Vol. 5' (8.23.95 Meadow Brook Music Festival, Rochester Hills, MI) is now available for sale in the DMB Warehouse store and on the official site.
"Described by fans as one of the "best Live Trax yet", this 2-CD set is a crew favorite from the mid 90s with guitarist David Ryan Harris joining DMB for six songs. 'Rhyme And Reason' is a notable song featuring David Ryan Harris harmonizing on guitar with the violin and saxophone parts of the song. A twelve-minute 'Exodus', played rarely in DMB history, was also a highlight of this show.
'Jimi Thing' fans should't miss this Live Trax, as the song version is one of the best from this period. The encore begins with a soulful solo performance of 'Typical Situation' by Dave Matthews and then explodes into 'All Along The Watchtower,' also featuring David Ryan Harris."

6.4.06 THE STATES DESERVE A GREAT DEAL
Honestly, we can't believe this band isn't signed (with a label) yet. Really. We absolutely LOVE their music! If you like The Bravery or Death Cab For Cutie you'll definitely like The States.
'So Near' is emotionally fabulous and '100 Years War' is another very strong single that reminds us just a bit of early U2. 'Multiply Not Divide' is simply a perfect track in all ways. It reminds us of a less mellow & more rockin' Coldplay.
They independently released their debut album, 'Multiply Not Divide' in 2005.

This guitar comes unsigned, but if you want, all of Mindless would be more than happy to autograph it. It can be hand delivered at a show, or in NYC. - Steve

6.3.06 YOU NEED SOME SETH BOULTON IN YOUR LIFE
Seth Boulton is a name you will hear a lot in the near future. He hails from North Carolina and his music would often be described as Acoustic Alternative Rock.
He has a very interesting voice - one that brings out a hint of David Bowie on 'The Boogie Man', Peter Himmelman on 'Swear', and Chris Isaak sneaks in for a quick moment on 'Dance With Me Down'.
We truly love all the Seth Boulton clips we have heard. 'The Boogie Man' is our personal favorite though. It features similar humor to that of The Jazz Butcher and Voltaire.
Seth is currently touring North Carolina venues throughout the month of June.

6.2.06 SARAH FIMM
If you are not already familiar with Sarah Fimm, we encourage you to check her out. If you like Sarah McLachlan you will most definitely like Sarah Fimm. There's a little bit of Tori Amos in her too.
"Sarah Fimm's second album, 'A Perfect Dream,' was a diamond buried deep in the indie underground: a brilliant and durable gem worth mining that no doubt will increase in value. Likewise, Fimm's new 'Nexus' is another rare jewel. Whereas the songs from 'Dream' were very separate entities, the 15 cuts winding through 'Nexus' transition into each other almost seamlessly, creating a chilled-out dimension, one that is vast and colored with celestial imagery." - CD Baby
Sarah supported Peter Murphy's 2005 U.S. tour. If she's good enough for Peter Murphy, she's good enough for us!

6.1.06 TEGAN AND SARA LIVE TOUR DVD
"Tegan & Sara are set to release their first full length DVD, entitled 'Its Not Fun. Dont Do It!', on August 8, 2006 through Vapor/Sanctuary Records. The DVD is a treasure trove of Tegan & Sara vernacular as well as an in depth look at one of todays most compelling artists.

Toronto

Over the past two years Tegan & Saras career trajectory has been on a dramatic rise. 6.1.06 FRONT LINE ASSEMBLY'S NEW ALBUM & TOUR SCHEDULE
"Bill Leeb, Rhys Fulber, Chris Peterson, and new member Jeremy Inkel began working on a new album for 2006, 'Artificial Soldier'. The newly re-formed line-up managed to create an album that no only lives up to the expectations of Front Line Assembly fans, but surpasses them.
Heavy pounding beats, atmospheric strings, percolating melodies, dynamic synths and Bill Leeb’s trademark vocals couldn’t be fused together any tighter if you tried to do it at an atomic level. As if all of those factors weren’t enough, two guest vocalists appear on 'Artificial Soldier' - Eskil Simonsson from Covenant (on 'The Storm') and Jean-Luc De Meyer from Front 242 (on “Future Fail”)! They say time can weather all things, but it has left FLA unscathed. They have remained an influential force in music, and continue to put excitement and adrenaline into industrial music." -Metropolis Records

6.1.06 THE DEARS - CHECK OUT THIS VIDEO
Have you seen the video for '22, Death Of All The Romance' by The Dears(The Dears are a orchestral rock group from Canada)? We've been meaning to tell you about them. We were reminded, thanks to Voltaire's bulletin. The video is fantastic and the song is amazing!
Listen to what the great Voltaire said about it:
Please check out Voltaire's site too. We're also fans of his.
"WOW, I just saw the coolest video.
It's for a song called '22, The Death Of All The Romance' by a band called The Dears. I saw it on the page of a lovey young lady here on Myspace.
The song is really cool and the animation reminds me so much of my comic book character, Deady. Those of you who know Deady will know what I mean! Check it out.. it's really awesome!" - Cheers, Voltaire

6.1.06 NEW MIDLAKE ALBUM
The new Midlake album, 'The Trials of Van Occupanther' is out! It is available on both CD and 12" vinyl.
Check out what this person had to say about it:
"The 'Trials of Van Occupanther' is now one of the most important modern records I own. In an age of overly-used irony and disconnected nonchalance, this record actually means something, and Midlake should be forever hailed for their unique and genuine approach to music.
Simply put, Van Occupanther has backbone, and the fact that you don't feel cheated by it gives one hope that sincerity can still exist within modern alternative music." -

CHECK OUT THREE BAD JACKS (our 'Plug Of The Month' winner for June)
We love their official description: "The Three Bad Jacks are the bastard sons of rock and roll greats like Elvis Presley, Joe Strummer and Joey Ramone. This full throttle rock and roll trio fuse the best parts of rockabilly, rock and roll, and punk into a unique sound that defies any label or category."
We really enjoyed the tracks we heard from their recent release, 'Crazy In The Head' (Boston Krown, 2005). Check them out!
